Nutrition X Mass X Elite

• Low in Sugars & Fats

• High in Protein

• Best Tasting Gainer Formula

What is it?

Mass X elite is a complete formula containing a mix of fast absorbing carbohydrate and protein with slow release carbohydrate and protein in combination with ‘healthy’ fats and a spectrum of minerals and vitamins. Each serving contains 678 kcal of useful energy which can be used either to boost the daily energy intake and/or provide a meal replacement for those who live a busy life and want to get some quality nutritional support.

Who is it for?

Any athlete who wants to put on muscle without adding fat, this complete formulation together with sound training will do just that. The scientifically researched combination of the right type of proteins and carbohydrates together with quality fat sources, minerals and vitamins ensures that the right building blocks and in place for increasing muscle. This is particularly beneficial for those who find it difficult to add on weight.

In addition, the complete formulation can also be used by athletes who need to reduce weight or fat when taken as a meal replacement. This can be done by replacing one or two meals a day with Mass X . However, we do not advocate replacing all meals.

When to take it?

For those who wish to increase their daily energy intake and help increase muscle mass, Mass X should be taken as a mid-morning or mid-afternoon snack or even as a supper. For those who wish to lose body weight (particularly body fat) or who have a busy life and want a nutritious meal, Mass X can be taken as a lunch or a dinner.

Why?

There is substantial evidence that endurance and power based athletes require a greater intake of protein than sedentary individuals. Elite athletes typical consume 1.8-2.5g/kg body weight per day of protein (162-225g per day for a 90kg athlete). Not only is this high intake of protein important but studies have clearly demonstrated that the timing and type of protein intake is also crucial. Exercise itself promotes muscle building but without correct nutrition this balance between building and breakdown favours breakdown and so inhibits the effects of the training session. Therefore, to convert this anabolic influence into muscle protein gains amino acids MUST be provided as soon as possible after exercise, either in the form of a meal or consuming a high quality protein supplement. The protein in Mass X elite is a unique combination of whey concentrate, whey isolate, and calcium caseinate. Studies have shown that casein based proteins release their amino acids relatively slowly compared with whey proteins, and so this unique blend maximises muscle protein synthesis after exercise.

The fats in Mass X elite are a blend of flaxseed and medium chain triglycerides, which provides the necessary calories to promote growth whilst at the same time provide essential nutrients such as omega 3 fatty acids to enhance cardiovascular health and improve blood glucose control.

Finally, any athlete wanting to increase lean muscle mass needs to ensure they are consuming the optimal amount of vitamins and minerals since deficiencies can have major effects on muscle protein synthesis. Intense exercise has been shown to increase the daily requirements of many vitamins and minerals. An example of this is vitamin D with recent studies showing that athletes may be particularly susceptible to deficiencies and that a lack of vitamin D has catastrophic effects on muscle protein synthesis. As you would expect from any Elite supplement, Mass X elite ensures that you have optimal intake of the necessary vitamins and minerals including additional vitamin D.

Mass X elite will make it a lot easier to gain and maintain that lean mass you are striving to achieve.

Truely awful!!! Mix 2 scoops with 500ml of water or milk i tried both, The result is a mixture the consistency of thick wallpaper paste that quickly seperates into large slimey blobs, I choose vanilla flavour i couldn't detect the taste of vanilla at all, I'm putting the tub in the bin,

I sat for over an hour trying to swallow this gunk wondering if the directions on the tub were correct. "Add 160 grams (2 Scoops) of Mass X Elite to water or milk....." Quicksand! (To say the least)......
