The 30 - 45 minute window after training or events is a crucial time during which the body races to recover as quickly as possible. The body's evolutionary instinct to immediately replace muscle glycogen (our first and main source of energy) means that it will use whatever nutrients are available, including amino acids present in muscle tissue, resulting in muscle wastage.

By rapidly supplying carbohydrates to replace glycogen, as well as fast acting protein to replace amino acids, the body recovers quickly, without breaking down existing amino acids. USN's Epic Pro All-in-one is precisely formulated as an elite post-training/event recovery drink and/or a comprehensive energy, amino acid and electrolyte replacement drink to use during long periods of intense physical activity such a multi-day sport events, Iron man events, marathons etc.

USN's Epic Pro All-in-one is also valuable in enhancing recovery from shorter-duration, high-intensity activities like sprinting, rugby, power-lifting, weight-lifting etc. The carbohydrate blend consists of five potent sources with varying degrees of uptake, although the majority is fast-acting, as recommended. The matrix includes the patented, high molecular weight Vitargo agglomerated barely starch.

Protein is supplied in the form of Amino Pro and high quality whey protein, which has been enzymatically hydrolized to produce a mixture of protein peptides and amino acids for accelerated whey absorption. USN's Epic Pro All-in-one has been formulated to form an isotonic drink (if prepared correctly), which promotes optimal nutrient absorption. It is a light, refreshing drink and is available in various delicious flavours.

Important notice: Beta-alanine may cause a tingling sensation in sensitive individuals. This normally clears up within 60 minutes, and is a normal and non-dangerous reaction to the product's mechanism of action. It normally dissipates after a few days of use. However, if this reaction continues and becomes disturbing, please reduce dosage or discontinue. High levels of free amino acids may also cause gastric discomfort in sensitive individuals - reduce dose or discontinue if this is the case.

Recommended Usage for USN Epic Pro

Add 3 scoops (75g) to 500 - 600ml of water and shake or stir vigorously. It is recommended that the powder be added to half the water first, after which it should be shaken vigorously for 10-15 seconds before adding the other half, and again shaking vigorously for a further 15-20 seconds.

• Drink within 30 minutes after an event or long training session.

• During long, strenuous endurance events or training sessions, take one serving (75g) every 60-90 minutes, taking a few sips every 15-20 minutes.

• Start drinking within 60 minutes before the start of the event for optimal results
